Beelink SER3 Mini PC Review

Beelink has just released a new minicomputer called SER3. This is another “new” minicomputer with an older processor, in this case, an AMD mobile processor. However, after some changes compared to the stock configuration, the performance turned out to be very good.

The Design and Build

The Beelink SER3 3750H is one of the smallest mini PCs you’ll ever find. It’s 4.96 inches wide, 4.45 inches deep, and just 1.57 inches thick. This makes it thicker than a laptop, but with a smaller tablet footprint. In other words, it’s small enough to fit almost anywhere. The case is made of black aluminum and is quite sturdy.
Inside the SER3 3750H lies a big cooling fan, the Minisforum X35G, found in the U-shaped heat pipe. As the fan rotates, air is constantly drawn through the pipe, which keeps the computer cool. It’s more efficient than most minicomputer cooling systems, so you can get more out of its components.
There are several ports and connectors at the bottom of the back of the case. There is a LAN connection on the left to connect to your router. Then there are the two USB Type-A ports stacked on top of each other. This connector has a blue internal tab so you can easily figure out how to route your USB connector. To the right of this, you’ll find a pair of HDMI ports next to each other. Lastly, there is the round DC power connector. AC/DC adapter and cable included.

On the front of the case, you’ll find an additional pair of USB connectors with identical blue internal pins. To the right of this is a USB Type-C port, next to it is a 3.5mm aux socket. Finally, there is a bright red power button. On the far left is an additional reset button that you have to press with a paperclip.

Processor and Memory

Every computer is as good as its parts. So what can the Beelink SER3 3750H offer? For starters, it uses an AMD Ryzen 7 3570H processor. In terms of storage, you are left with a few options. The SER3 3750H is equipped with a 256GB or 512GB M.2 SSD, depending on your preference. This M.2 SSD is significantly smaller than other types of devices, which means it fits into a small case. Motherboards can support devices up to 1TB, so there’s room for improvement. There’s also an empty 2.5-inch drive under the mainboard. It will support additional SSDs with capacities up to 1TB.

RAM is another option you can choose. The 256 GB version comes with 8 GB RAM, while the 512 GB version comes with 16 GB RAM. Main memory always consists of two DDR4 sticks. It can be expanded to double 32 GB for a total of 64 GB.

The SER3 3750H, like most computers, can be connected to the Internet in two different ways. The first is Gigabit Ethernet, which offers the highest speed and best stability. The Bluetooth 4.0 option is even more confusing. This is the old and high-latency standard for games and videos. You have four USB ports for connecting other devices.

Overall, the Beelink SER3 Mini PC is one that you won’t regret buying. Its specifications are good and it is not expensive. Visit Banggood today and purchase one for yourself.
